The past several weeks have had us running ragged, and I don't see things slowing down this year with Justin in school and all. Tyler is just getting more and more interactive and is showing his personality more with every passing day. He has started eating solids when I think about giving them to him. He's doing fairly well with them, but he isn't exactly opening his mouth in anticipation, yet. Kyle is still just as active as ever and is constantly thirsting for knowledge. He knows almost all of his letters and can count to 10, and he is always asking what things are. Even when he's upset about something, we can often sit down with him and explain what is going on and he calms down. He may not be able to express himself very well, but he certainly understands what we say. Right now Kyle's passion is for trains. Anytime a train comes by the house he wants to run out to the deck just so he can sit down and watch it go by. His toy Geo Tracks train also never gets put away for more than 24 hours without him wanting to pull it out again. He really is a handful, but a lot of fun at the same time. Justin is still busy with work and school. He's been doing a pretty good job of juggling work, school and family. I suspect, now that 24 and Lost are no longer airing, he will find just a couple more hours a week.
As for me, I am staying busy keeping up with the kids, falling behind in housework and trying to get in shape. So far, I've lost 4 lbs and an inch around my waist. I have taken up running, and hopefully that will expedite my progress. Now, if only I could resist that piece of chocolate, I'd be okay.
